The situation regarding the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Australia continues to unfold, with new announcements and developments daily.

It is important that we practice social distancing and good hygiene, to slow down the spread of infection and enable our healthcare facilities to cope with the raising numbers of cases. While we may seem to have low numbers here in Australia, taking steps now will help the numbers to not increase as quickly, and we’ll be better able to ensure the health of those affected, particularly those that are most vulnerable.

Here at CLP Legal, the health and wellbeing of our clients, staff, third parties and associates is and always has been of the upmost importance; we have implemented the following in our offices:

  • Hygiene and hand sanitisation protocols which include regular disinfecting of all work areas, meeting rooms, kitchen areas and door/door frames etc.
  • Some high risk staff members are working from home.
  • All staff members are keeping at least 1.5 metres from one another with no large meetings.
  • Teleconferences are occurring where possible instead of face-to-face meetings.
