Outside of the office, Gol enjoys traveling both locally and abroad, hiking, attending the gym, and—most importantly—spending as much time as possible with her family.
Now a Director, Susan is deeply committed to securing the best possible outcomes for her clients. Whether the injury is relatively minor or catastrophic and life changing, she understands the immense emotional and physical toll that injuries have on people’s lives, and she approaches each case with empathy, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to justice. Her mission is simple: absorb the stress and get the maximum result.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, being the number one sports fan for her children and the frequent camping trips to explore all parts of Australia.
Amy pursued a career in personal injury law with the aim of helping people with navigating the often complex and overwhelming legal system. She has experience managing a wide range of personal injury claims. Amy is dedicated to achieving the settlement outcome each of her clients deserves.
Sage feels very passionate about assisting victims in navigating a complex legal system and advocating on their behalf to obtain the justice and outcome they deserve. Sage has valuable experience in advising victims about their rights and listening to their concerns.
In addition to working as a Solicitor, Sage is also a sessional academic at Curtin University, teaching in subjects including Criminal Law, Professional Responsibility, and Legal Writing for Lawyers. Sage enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained during her career with others and helping to shape the future of junior lawyers.
Outside of work, Sage enjoys reading fiction books, running and Pilates classes, and spending time with friends and family (including her two adorable nephews).
With over a decade of legal experience, Elly regularly appears before WorkCover WA and the District Court of Western Australia, advocating for clients in complex workers' compensation matters. Her deep understanding of compensation law and her practical, empathetic approach make her a trusted advisor and a determined advocate for injured workers.
Elly is fluent in Mandarin, which allows her to assist a broader range of clients with clarity and care. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family abroad.
Having migrated to Australia from Singapore at a reasonably young age, she has grown up observing minority groups at a disadvantage when trying to navigate the various complex systems in society. It has always been Wihdah’s intention to work in the legal field and to help people navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives with empathy, clarity, and practical advice. Wihdah has found that personal injury law is aligned with these values and is now committed to making the legal process accessible to clients from diverse backgrounds. She takes pride in being a steady and supportive advocate, guiding clients through complex claims with compassion and determination.
Throughout his career in Singapore, Venu built a broad civil law practice, advising on matters such as conveyancing, family law (including adoptions), and motor vehicle injury and damage claims. He has conducted numerous criminal and civil trials in the Magistrate and District Courts, and also represented clients in civil matters before the Supreme Court.
Venu joined CLP Legal in December 2009. At CLP Legal, he initially handled a range of personal injury and civil matters, including motor vehicle accidents, workers' compensation, and public liability claims. For the past four years, Venu has focused exclusively on Criminal Injuries Compensation claims, where he has developed significant expertise and successfully represented clients in numerous appeals before the District Court of Western Australia.
She later transitioned to a corporate role as Personal Assistant to the CEO of a multinational firm within the Rolls-Royce gas turbine division. Kala then took on a leadership role as Duty Manager at a newly launched hotel in the city, where she oversaw daily operations and staff management.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Kala reassessed her career path and decided to return to her passion—Human Resources. She entered the legal industry as a legal recruiter, quickly gaining in-depth knowledge of the profession and the unique dynamics of law firms.
An opportunity to join CLP Legal led her to initially work as a Legal Assistant in the Criminal Injuries department. Her strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and passion for people soon paved the way for her transition into her current role as HR & Accounts. Kala is dedicated to supporting both the team and clients, while continuing to grow within the HR field.
